The Trapezium Steel Leg.

An angled steel base with a wide stance, narrower at the top, broader at the floor. The most architecturally distinctive of our four standard legs. Suits longer tables (200cm+) and larger rooms; gives the table a planted, considered look without crossing into "designer" territory.

Two trapezoid steel frames, angled outward from top to floor, set in from the table ends so the silhouette reads as a slab on inverted wedges. Heavier visually than the Box, lighter than the Spider single-pedestal. The right leg for tables that need to anchor a room without dominating it.

Period dining rooms

The angled geometry softens the table's visual weight, which works well under high Edwardian and Georgian ceilings where a Box leg can read as a bit too modern. Pair with walnut or chocolate stain in black or anthracite steel.

Long tables (200cm+)

The wide stance gives 8 and 10-seater tables visible structural support, the Trapezium reads as built-to-bear-load in a way the slim Hairpin doesn't. The default leg recommendation for our 240cm and 280cm tops.

Statement-piece dining rooms

If the table is the room's hero, sculptural light overhead, pared-back walls, no sideboard, the Trapezium gives it the architectural language to carry that role. Gold or anthracite steel finish elevates the effect.

The Trapezium leg comes in the same four powder-coated finishes as the rest of the standard range. Pick any of the five lengths (140/180/200/240/280cm) and any of the five widths. Matches well with all five stains, particularly walnut, chocolate and natural.
