Timber Row itself is still a young brand, but the workshop behind it isn’t. Our sister brand, Sorrell & Smith Furniture Co., has been making bespoke furniture from the same Wickford workshop since 2022 and has built up an established independent review history of its own.
So while the products are different, the craftsmanship, workshop and people behind them are already well proven.
Every Timber Row customer is invited to leave an independent Trustpilot review after their table has had some time to settle into their home.
We deliberately wait a little rather than asking for a review the moment the table arrives. It gives customers time to use it properly, live with the finish and see how it feels as part of the room.
Their feedback is then published independently on Trustpilot.

The workshop isn’t.
Before Timber Row existed, our Wickford workshop was already producing bespoke furniture under Sorrell & Smith Furniture Co.
Since 2022, customers have commissioned us to make everything from live-edge dining tables and kitchen worktops to large boardroom pieces and one-off furniture built around individual homes.
Sorrell & Smith now has more than 75 independent Trustpilot reviews.
Timber Row is a different product, built around our streamlined two-wide-slab solid French oak construction, but it comes from the same Wickford workshop and the same furniture-making experience.
If you’re considering ordering a table online and want to understand how we look after customers, how our furniture arrives and how we respond when something needs attention, the Sorrell & Smith reviews are well worth reading.
It’s easy for any company to put a handful of glowing testimonials on its own website.
That’s why we’d rather point customers towards an independent review platform where feedback sits publicly alongside the rest of our reputation.
Good reviews tell us what we’re getting right. Critical ones tell us where we need to improve. Both are useful, and prospective customers should be able to see the broader picture rather than only the comments we’ve chosen ourselves.
We’ll normally invite you to review your Timber Row table around 30 days after delivery, once you’ve had some proper time to use it.
We genuinely value detailed feedback, whether it’s about the timber, finish, delivery, communication or anything else that shaped your experience.
And if something isn’t right with your table, please contact us directly as well. We’d always rather have the opportunity to put something right than leave a customer disappointed.
