Configurable widths that fit a Victorian galley.

Roughly a third of the tables we ship to London go into Victorian or Edwardian terraced kitchens, long, narrow rooms where a standard 100cm-wide table won't physically fit between the run of units and the back door. Every Timber Row top is configurable in widths from 90cm to 120cm in 10cm steps, with a narrow 80cm option on the compact 120cm length, so you can match the table to the room rather than rearranging the room around the table.

For broken-plan kitchen extensions in Hackney, Crouch End, Stoke Newington and Tooting, a 200cm × 100cm in chocolate or walnut is our most-shipped spec, sits comfortably under a Crittall divider and seats six without crowding the cooking side.

For period-property dining rooms in Notting Hill, Hampstead, Battersea and Wandsworth, the 240cm × 100cm in natural oil is the most popular, it sits well under a Georgian sash window without the proportions feeling forced.

How delivery works inside the M25.

Booking call the day before

Our team calls the number on file to confirm a four-hour arrival window, usually morning (8am–12pm) or afternoon (12pm–4pm). We work around school runs, building access slots and parking-bay restrictions.

Two-man, room-of-choice

Our team carries the top and base in separately, blanket-wrapped. Up four flights of stairs in a Pimlico mansion-flat, through a side return in Brixton, into a basement kitchen in Islington, same service, same price.

Packaging removed, free

No flat-pack waste left in your hallway. Our team takes blankets, foam corners and the cardboard outer back to Wickford to be reused. The only thing left is the table.

Congestion-charge zones (EC, WC, parts of W, SE1) are included free. ULEZ-compliant van. We don't pass either charge on to you.

Why not a high-street oak retailer?

Same price. Real wood.

Most "oak" dining tables on the high street are veneer over MDF, or kiln-dried softwood with an oak stain. They look right in the showroom and start to chip at the edges within eighteen months, by which point the warranty has expired and the showroom won't take it back.

A Timber Row table is the same money, but it's two slabs of solid French oak, 37mm thick, 300-year-old slow-grown French oak from the working oak forests of central France, joined edge-to-edge and finished by hand in food-safe hardwax oil. There is no veneer, no MDF, no chipboard. The base is hot-rolled steel, powder-coated in your choice of finish, with a 10-year structural guarantee covering the base and the timber-to-base connection.

We can sell the real thing for the same money because we sell direct from the workshop in Essex, no out-of-town showroom, no middleman, no four-month bespoke wait.
