Solid oak dining table and chair sets, made in Essex

Most people don’t arrive knowing they want a 220cm by 100cm top with a straight edge on anthracite Trapezium legs. They know they want a proper oak table that seats eight. This collection is for them: each design is a table we’ve already built in our Wickford workshop, so you can see the finished thing before you order.

Every top is two full-thickness slabs of French oak joined into one seamless 37mm surface — solid all the way through, no veneer. The 6 seater, 8 seater and 10 seater dining sets pair a table with chairs from our dining chair collection, matched for seat height, proportion and finish, and the chairs are delivered free when they’re ordered with a table.

Questions

Are these tables in stock?

No — every table is made to order in our Wickford workshop, exactly to the specification shown, in 4–5 weeks. What’s “ready” is the decision-making: the size, edge, finish and legs are already chosen, so you can simply add it to your basket.

Will my table look exactly like the photograph?

It will be the same size, shape, finish and legs. Oak is a natural material, so the grain, knots and colour of your top will be its own.

Can I change something about one of these tables?

Yes. Every design has a “Modify this build” link that opens the table configurator with that exact specification already filled in, ready for you to change the length, width, stain, edge or legs.

How are the dining sets delivered?

The table is delivered free by a two-person team to your room of choice. The chairs come separately, usually within 1–2 weeks, and are delivered free because they’re ordered with a table.

Can I buy the table without the chairs?

Yes. Each set has a table-only version, and chairs appear as a separate line in your basket, so you can remove or change them before you pay.
