These terms apply to all orders placed with Timber Row, a trading division of Sorrell & Smith Ltd (registered in England, no. 14373414). By placing an order you agree to these terms.

When you place an order, you're making us an offer to buy that product at the price shown. We accept the offer when we email you an order confirmation. Until then we're free to refuse the order, for instance, if the timber turns out to be unsuitable, the price was wrong, or we suspect fraud.
Prices include VAT. Delivery is free for mainland UK addresses on orders over £1,500.
Every Timber Row table is built from genuine solid French oak. By definition this means knots, mineral inclusions, fine grain variation, occasional small fissures and natural colour variation between boards are features, not defects. We grade and stabilise every board, but we don't sand the character out of it.
Photography on this site is representative, your table will share the named timber type, the named dimensions and the named base, but the exact grain pattern and patina will vary board-to-board. That's the point.
Free dedicated two-man courier delivery to mainland UK, approximately 4–5 weeks from order. The team delivers to your room of choice and removes packaging. Assembly is not included, but it's a 15-minute job (eight bolts, allen key supplied). Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man are quoted on request. We do not currently deliver outside the UK.
Risk passes to you when delivery is completed. Title passes when payment is received in full.
You can cancel your order at any time before dispatch by emailing [email protected] for a full refund. After delivery, you have 30 days to return the table for any reason for a full refund, we collect free of charge. See the full Returns Policy.
10-Year Structural Guarantee covering defects in materials, construction and workmanship, including the steel base and the timber-to-base connection. The original finish is covered for 2 years against defects in its application. See the full Warranty & Aftercare terms.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the product.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be heard exclusively by the English courts (consumers in Scotland and Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts).
