The Box leg is two solid steel U-frames bolted to the underside of the top, set in from the ends so the table reads as a slab floating above the floor. The steel is 10mm thick, heavier than most furniture-grade steel, and powder-coated in your choice of black, white, gold or anthracite grey.

Family kitchens

Heavy steel doesn't move when small children climb on chairs. The U-frame profile leaves a clear lap height and footwell for two people sitting end-on. The default choice for families with kids under 10.

Modern open-plan extensions

Black powder-coated Box legs on a chocolate-stained oak top reads as the right kind of industrial-modern for a Crittall-glazed kitchen extension. Pairs cleanly with bi-folds, exposed concrete and dark joinery.

Anywhere you want the wood to lead

The Box leg is the most visually quiet of our standard four, it lets the timber do the talking. If your dining room has a feature wall, a statement light, or a tablescape, the Box leg gives them room to breathe.

The Box leg comes in four powder-coated finishes: black (the default), white, gold and anthracite grey. Pick any of the five lengths (140/180/200/240/280cm) and any of the five widths. Add a matching bench in the same leg style if you want banquette seating.
