About The Grain

The Grain is solid oak throughout, with a woven paper-cord seat in the Scandinavian tradition. The cord seat is light, hard-wearing and gives slightly in use; the curved back rail supports without bulk.

Delivered fully assembled — no flat-pack. Two chairs are supplied in each box.

Why “The Grain”?

Grain is the timber itself — direction, figure and character. This chair shows its oak plainly, nothing added.
